A
romantic headpiece for a second wedding, quinceanera or bridesmaid.
This piece is all handmade lilies and bells in the palest of lavender chiffon
with centers of lavender and white stamens and accented with clusters of
burnt coq feathers and curled ostrich herl. Mounted on a grosgrain
base and held on by a ¼“ elastic covered with ruched grosgrain in
a contrasting dark lilac. The elastic will stretch from 21” to 25”,
at least, and the ends of the corona base are open if the elastic needs
further adjustment.
The
corona is about 9” long and 7” wide. The bells and lilies 2 – 3”
long/high but the feathers add on another 4 – 6”. It can be worn
centered, on either side of the head, or flamenco or 20’s style.
